Srushti Dehmukh started preparing for UPSC during the final semester of her engineering bachelor's degree. When she graduated she wondered if she would be content working in an engineering position. After realizing her dream and pursuing it, she started working for civil service. She was urged by her parents to go after a civil service career and prepare herself for the exams. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was focused on that goal. To achieve UPSC it is necessary to do more. As she studied her engineering subject She also had to practice for the various areas of the UPSC. Each day she set aside some time to work on her preparation for the test. In just 1 and 1/4 months, she was studying for engineering examinations, and stayed away from any social interaction. Her belief is that focus and concentration are the key to pass the test to become a government official. She put in great effort to make sure she passed the exam on her first attempt. Everyday, she was reading the paper to stay up with current events. Rajya Sabha TV and online study materials were also a excellent resource for her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh published a follow-up book titled, The Answer Writing Manual. You can find it in every state library. The book is excellent for IAS students who have been studying hard for the IAS examination. The husband of the woman regularly updates their Facebook pages providing information about her and her duties.
